The Super 5th is PullRite's proven fixed-position fifth wheel hitch, purpose-built for long bed trucks and drivers who demand maximum towing capacity with no-compromise engineering. Where short bed trucks require a sliding mechanism, long bed trucks have the cab clearance to take full advantage of a fixed hitch — and the Super 5th delivers that advantage with less weight, fewer moving parts, and rock-solid reliability.
At the heart of every Super 5th is PullRite's patented fully automatic locking jaw. It is the only self-locking handle on the market, with no secondary locking devices to manually engage. The precision, laser-cut jaw components rotate around the rearward portion of the trailer's king pin at 140 degrees, creating a tight-fitting 320 degrees of connection. The dual-articulating hitch head moves in four directions — side-to-side and front-to-back — for easier hookup on uneven ground and a smoother ride down the road. No jacking or shimming your truck and trailer to be level with one another. No false hookups or high-hooking.
The hitch head is easily removable with pins and clips, no tools needed, reducing the lifting weight by 40 lbs. or more. The mounting post assemblies are also completely removable — simply unpin the post handles, rotate a quarter turn outward, and lift out. With all four assemblies removed, the hitch sits flat in the bed and can be handled by one person. Premium hardware, including castle nuts for finer adjustment of puck handles, ensures precise installation and a perfect fit every time.

The #1500 OE Puck Series Super 5th mounts directly to the factory puck system on 2016–2019 Chevy and GMC trucks—no adapter or rails needed. Rated at 18,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 4,500 lbs. pin weight, with vertical height adjustment from 15" to 18".
Designed for long bed GM trucks, this fixed-position hitch can also be used with short bed configurations when the truck/trailer combination allows for a wider turning radius. The mounting post assemblies are completely removable without tools—unpin handles, rotate a quarter turn outward, and lift out. Castle nuts on the puck handles allow fine adjustments for a precise fit during installation.
