Since 1974, PullRite has designed and built fifth-wheel hitches and towing products right here in the USA. More than 50 years later, that hasn't changed — every hitch is engineered, tested, and made in America, and trusted by RVers and working towers alike.
For more than fifty years, PullRite has designed, engineered, and built fifth-wheel and gooseneck hitches on American soil.
From the first cut of high-grade American steel to the finished hitch bolted into your truck bed, every step happens here in the United States. We're part of Pulliam Enterprises, and we've never outsourced what matters most — the engineering and the manufacturing that carry your trailer down the interstate. Very few hitch makers can say that about their entire product line. We're one of them.
In 2008, the financial crisis was shutting down RV businesses all around us. The easy path was the one a lot of manufacturers took — lay off most of the workforce and move production overseas.
For PullRite, that would have meant letting roughly 80% of our people go and shipping manufacturing to China. We didn't do it. Instead, we sat down with every employee in honest, one-on-one conversations and worked through it together.
We came out the other side with our people and our production still here.
The principles behind every hitch that leaves our doors.
Every PullRite hitch is engineered and built in America from high-grade American steel. We have done it that way since 1974.
We built the first fully automatic sliding fifth-wheel hitch — the SuperGlide — and we keep refining how a hitch mounts, locks, and rides.
Every hitch is tested to SAE J2638, the industry strength standard for fifth-wheel hitches, and accurately weight-rated, so the number on the label is the number you can trust.
The SuperGlide was the first fully automatic sliding fifth-wheel hitch. On a short-bed truck it moves your trailer away from the cab as you turn and back to center as you straighten out — a full 90-degree turn, with nothing to throw and no getting out of the cab.

Clean Bed Technology that hands the truck bed back to you when you're not towing. Self-locking jaws and dual-articulating heads that keep the connection tight and the ride smooth. We keep refining how our hitches mount, lock, and ride — so you get strength where you need it and a clean, open bed when you don't.
Your hitch is the single connection between a heavy truck and a heavier trailer. SAE J2638 is the industry strength standard that proves a hitch can handle the load printed on its label. It's voluntary — no law requires it — and we test to it anyway.
Static and dynamic loads — vertical, horizontal, and longitudinal — so the weight rating you read is the weight you can trust.
Four families of hitches, each engineered for a different truck and a different tow.
The original fully automatic sliding hitch. On a short-bed truck, the SuperGlide slides your trailer away from the cab as you turn and back to center as you straighten out — a full 90-degree turn with nothing to throw and no getting out of the cab.
Our fixed-position hitch, built for long-bed trucks that already have the cab clearance a slider gives a short bed. Fewer moving parts, less weight, and the same self-locking jaw and dual-articulating head.
The lightest hitch in its class, built from high-grade American steel instead of the weaker aluminum others use. A funnel-style hookup converts the trailer king pin to a ball, so you can line it up and connect it from the cab.
Hitches with an interchangeable coupler. Buy the base once and swap the coupler down the road instead of replacing the whole hitch — available across our Super 5th and SuperLite lines.
Every PullRite hitch is built from high-grade American steel and backed by our 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship (hitch covers carry a 1-year limited warranty). We stand behind our products because we know they're built to last. If something goes wrong, we'll make it right.
Our manufacturing facility in Mishawaka, Indiana is where every PullRite hitch begins and ends. From raw steel to finished product, our skilled American workers take pride in every hitch that leaves our doors.
