The Quick Connect Capture Plate is a required component of every SuperGlide fifth wheel towing system. This plate mounts to your trailer's skid plate and isolates the rotation of the king pin within the hitch. That rotational movement is then transferred to the SuperGlide's automatic cam action, moving the hitch away from the cab along its rails to prevent trailer-to-cab contact.
The #331705 Quick Connect Capture Plate is specifically designed for Lippert 1621, 1116 and 1716 pin boxes that are 13-1/4” wide, enabling fast installation and removal for your convenience. Brand-specific engineering ensures a precise fit without the extensive bolting required by universal plates.
