Fits 2011-2019 Chevy/GM trucks. Intended for Single Point mounting systems such as the SuperLite #2600 and #3900 Super 5th.
On a Single Point hitch, the tow load gets dispersed to the cross sills that hold the truck bed on the frame. On 2011-2019 Chevy/GM trucks, those cross sills sit unevenly and too far from the hitch to carry that load at a full 20K rating. This kit adds the metal-to-metal downward support that gap leaves out.
It bolts in with no drilling and includes the brackets and hardware. PullRite tested for this and found it necessary to maintain the 20K rating on Single Point setups like the SuperLite #2600 and the #3900 Super 5th. Ford and Ram cross sills already sit close to those rails; GM trucks need the extra support.
