At the heart of every Super 5th is PullRite's patented fully automatic locking jaw. It is the only self-locking handle on the market, with no secondary locking devices to manually engage. The precision, laser-cut jaw components rotate around the rearward portion of the trailer's king pin at 140 degrees, creating a tight-fitting 320 degrees of connection. The dual-articulating hitch head moves in four directions — side-to-side and front-to-back — for easier hookup on uneven ground and a smoother ride down the road. No jacking or shimming your truck and trailer to be level with one another. No false hookups or high-hooking.
The hitch head is easily removable with pins and clips, no tools needed, reducing the lifting weight by 40 lbs. or more. The mounting post assemblies are also completely removable — simply unpin the post handles, rotate a quarter turn outward, and lift out. With all four assemblies removed, the hitch sits flat in the bed and can be handled by one person. Premium hardware, including castle nuts for finer adjustment of puck handles, ensures precise installation and a perfect fit every time.

The #4900 OEX Super 5th is built for 2020-2026 GM trucks equipped with factory puck mounting points. Rated at 25,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 6,250 lbs. pin weight, it is the lightest 25K hitch available for GM trucks at just 94 lbs. with the head removed, roughly two-thirds the weight of comparable models.
Ships in two boxes (#4930 GM base + #4820 Super 5th coupler) for easier handling. As an X-Series hitch, the base accepts interchangeable couplers, so you can swap to a SuperLite coupling method down the road without replacing the entire hitch.
The OEX Mounting Posts are completely removable without tools, so the hitch sits flat in the bed when stored with no binding during removal. The interchangeable Coupler Assembly provides 4 inches of additional rearward offset for short bed trucks. Premium castle nut hardware allows finer installation adjustments. Height adjusts from 16.25 to 18.75 inches.
